Young Blood is a group exhibition occurring twice per year that is open for submissions by any regional artist under 21. Each artist may display 1-2 pieces and can even sell their work. Submitted artwork may be any medium, theme, or genre, and each exhibition culminates with a themed art party! Young Blood is a great opportunity for young artists in the region to gain some experience exhibiting their artwork, while also having the chance to meet and network with other young creatives.
The spring 2025 Young Blood exhibition is scheduled for Saturday, October 4th from 5:30pm-8:00pm at the Holland Project. Come dressed in your best black & white as we go “Behind the Silver Screen” to celebrate all the Young Blood artists and their wonderful artwork with a vintage cinema themed art party hosted in partnership with our friends from the Washoe County Library. In addition to all the awesome artwork in the gallery, the party will also includ fun hands-on activities, live music, a photo booth, snacks, and more! There’s a $1 donation at the door and costumes are encouraged.
