We’re co-hosting our first FREE avalanche awareness talk of the season with @renoalpineclub next Tuesday, November 4th at 6:30 at @craftreno. This will be great as a refresher for those experienced in the backcountry and for anyone new to it! We’re getting stoked for ski season!
Connor Chilcott IFMGA certified mountain guide will be covering seasonal conditions and how they affect avalanche problems, different snow climates and what to look for, morning progression, weather forecasting, and tour planning.
