Fusing jagged guitar textures, hypnotic basslines, and spectral synths, DATURA crafts soundscapes drenched in melancholia and nocturnal tension. Their lyrics explore themes of loss, disintegration, desire, and the mystical allure of decay, often delivered through haunting vocals that blur the line between lament and ritual.
Rooted in the legacy of bands like The Cure, Bauhaus, and Siouxsie and the Banshees, yet infused with contemporary sensibilities, DATURA stands as both a reverent heir and a restless innovator within the gothic tradition.
