Nick Hexum is an American musician best known as the lead singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter of the rock band 311. He helped form the band in the early 1990s, blending rock, reggae, funk, and hip-hop influences into a sound that gained mainstream success. In addition to his work with 311, Hexum has pursued solo and side projects, showcasing a more jazz- and acoustic-oriented style.
