        Carl Schultz is a Philadelphia-born tenor saxophonist, composer, and educator who currently serves as Director of Jazz Studies at Santa Clara University. He has toured internationally with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and performed alongside jazz legends like Dave Brubeck and Billy Taylor. As a bandleader, his Carl Schultz Quintet explores a modern, genre-blending sound — notably on his albums ACT reACT and the upcoming The Road to Trantor.
