ABOUT
Words of Concrete was founded in 2009 in the Saxon capital of Dresden and consists of singer Rob, guitarist Schofi, bassist Marv and drummer Kilian.
Shortly after the band was founded in 2010, "New Kidz on the Block" was released as a split CD with Delusions of Lunacy, which was released via BDHW Records. After a change to One Life One Crew Records, the debut album "East German Cold" was released. Two years later, the second album "Between Home and Hell" followed, before the band took a forced break in 2014 for personal reasons.
In 2017 they returned to BDHW and released the music video "Ghettobeat 2.0" from the upcoming album "Negative Vibes" (spring 2018) at the end of the year.
It's been a wild ride. The Slap Frost Tour was conceived by 3 friends in a garage in Richmond, California in 2014. Originally the goal was to get out of the greater San Francisco Bay Area to share the collective talents of a battle tested, veteran DJ, a reformed wordsmith and an exceptional entertainer. After the inaugural 12 city run throughout 7 states, True Justice, Vocab Slick and Z-Man realized this independent "rap vacation" could be a platform not only for established acts but for up and coming talent who have never been on tour before. In the subsequent years the Slap Frost Tour has traveled to 110 cities and 45 states producing a decade of incredible performances.2025 brings us the 10th and Final Slap Frost Tour

Chris has been playing guitar since the age of eight, and involved with music on and off his whole life. Whether working on solo projects, playing in bands, or writing and recording, it is the home to which he’s most often returned. Since moving to Reno a couple of years ago, music has taken a back seat as Chris has been preoccupied with building a business, developing a new invention and skiing… a lot of skiing. But now, as so many times before, music is calling him home once more!
Transplanted from England, Sue has found a musical home and heart right here in Reno. Inspired by all the incredible musicians she has met, Sue is busy writing songs, and performing them wherever and whenever she gets the chance!
