The Holiday Lights Festival returns to Downtown Reno this December 5–6 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, transforming the heart of downtown into a winter wonderland of lights, music, and holiday cheer — and it’s completely free for everyone.
This family-friendly festival is one of the only holiday celebrations where everything is free — including:
- Free admission for all attendees
- Free booth spaces for artists, crafters, and makers selling handmade goods through Great American Craft Fairs
- Free train rides through the festival route
- Free photos with Santa
- Free Christmas movies at the pop-up holiday cinema
- Free live entertainment across multiple stages
Visitors can stroll along Virginia Street between Court and 4th Streets, where they’ll find sparkling light displays, festive décor, food vendors, and family activities spread throughout Downtown Reno.
