Gene Loves Jezebel is a British alternative rock band formed in the early 1980s by twin brothers Michael and Jay Aston. They are known for their gothic rock and post-punk sound, gaining popularity in the mid-1980s with hits like “Heartache” and “Desire (Come and Get It)”. Due to internal conflicts, the brothers eventually formed separate versions of the band, both using the name Gene Loves Jezebel.
