Alese is a singer-songwriter who was raised in South Carolina on a diet of 90’s country, gospel, and alternative music. She finds inspiration from primarily indie music, but also the masterful story-telling of songbirds like Jewel, Sara Bareilles, and Sarah McLachlan. She has been singing since she can remember and writing songs for the past 15 years. One message resounds to the hurting and the broken: keep going and you’ll find joy. When she’s not doing something around music, she’s likely hanging with her dog Darla, organizing all the things, or plotting her next adventure.
