highly obscure & underrated The Wild Flowers, the trio have garnered a cult-like following in the goth/alternative underground through their catchy melancholic soundscapes and energetic live performances. Not afraid to stand out, DECEITS took it upon themselves to play post-punk that wasn’t restricted to just being cold and monotone. Founded on a shared endearment of bands like The Cure, Human Tetris, Motorama, The Chameleons and For Against, and not afraid to pull from influences outside of the “goth” musical tree, the band is made up of Kevin “Puppy” Moreno (Vocals, Bass Guitar, Keyboards), Skylar Francise (Guitars) and Francisco Saenz (Percussions).

Tempo is an exploration and indulgence of dancehall grooves, ambient textures, trance mantras, and MIDI smoothness. The Montreal and Victoria based duo – comprised of Steve Lind and Thomas Di Ninno – created a record that is a sophisticated blend of post-punk, psych, dub, ambient, house, and techno. The album and its lead single “In a Moment Divine” were critical favourites featured on many year end lists including Resident Advisor, Crack Magazine and Gorilla vs. Bear.
Just a little over two years since the release of his debut album Opening the Door, Jack J re-emerges with a new full length album. On Blue Desert, the Australian-born Vancouver-based multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer wades deeper into the stylistically prismatic pool of his own creation: melancholy dub-funk, jangling psychedelia, moon-burnt sophisti-pop and stained glass folk mutations float freely together.

SPELLLING gained widespread recognition with the release of her critically acclaimed debut album, Pantheon of Me, in 2017. The album showcased her prodigious talent as a songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. In 2019, she signed to Sacred Bones and released her highly anticipated sophomore album, Mazy Fly, further elevating her artistic vision and expanding her sonic palette. In 2021 she released her breakthrough project, The Turning Wheel, which saw her orchestrating and self-producing an album that features an ensemble of 31 collaborating musicians. The Turning Wheel has become a career-defining opus for the artist. The album received widespread unanimous praise, earning itself The Needle Drops #1 album of the year in 2021.
