Are children allowed at Woollystar?

Woollystar is an all ages event, however this is a working ranch in a natural setting, and all people under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times. This entertainment is not geared towards children, but they are welcome to attend and have enjoyed the event in years past. There is a lower ticket price for people under 18 years of age.

What kind of music will there be?

Our music is primarily folk, alternative/indie, and singer-songwriter.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are allowed on leash, as long as they are not aggressive, guests must clean up after their pets.

Can I cook at my campsite or RV?

There are no campfires or BBQs or any open flames allowed. However, you can cook with a gas cooking stove, but it must be 2 feet off of the ground and you must keep water or a fire extinguisher at your campsite to put out any fires. Here is an example of a table you can bring to cook your food on.

Can I bring my chair/cooler/umbrella/blanket?

Yes, you can bring a chair to sit on, and you are welcome to bring a cooler, umbrella, or a picnic blanket. We do not allow people to bring their own E-Z up tents (unless it is with your RV).

Can I bring food or drinks?

Yes, you can bring your own food, and beer/wine and non-alcoholic beverages. However, we highly encourage people to patronize the food vendor and bar that will be available on site during the event.

What accommodations are available at the campsite?

We provide flat sites with access to port-o-potties, handwashing stations, and clean drinking water. We do not provide showers or electricity at RV sites or campsites.

Do I have to buy tickets to the festival to be part of the workshop?

No, workshop tickets are separate and participants are not required to purchase tickets beyond the $35 workshop fee. Buying a ticket to the workshop does not give you admission to the festival.
