From the moment Philip Sayce first put his hands on a guitar neck, he never let go. Malcolm Gladwell theorized that “greatness” requires 10,000 hours of practical training. A teenage Sayce had easily surpassed this threshold when his hometown hero, legendary guitarist and multi-platinum artist Jeff Healey, caught Sayce playing a ferocious set in downtown Toronto. Within a year, Sayce was touring internationally with Jeff Healey's band and performing at the world's most prestigious festivals. Since that time, Sayce has put in multiples of that 10,000 hours, recording and touring for four years with musical icon Melissa Etheridge. Sayce appeared with Etheridge at the 2007 Academy Awards,Live Earth in 2007, The 2005 Grammy Awards as part of a tribute to Janis Joplin (along with Joss Stone). From there, launching a solo career and establishing a rabid fan base in Europe and beyond, opening shows for the likes of ZZ Top and Deep Purple. Sayce is a rare artist, a combination of outstanding songwriter, unparalleled guitarist, soulful singer, and electrifying performer.

s circa ‘62 mixed with a dash of California coastal weirdness in a mod-inspired dreamscape. Kimmi Bitter is a paradox that echoes the traditions of classic country, yet feels like it's breaking all the rules at once. A rising force in the underground Americana scene she's mixing the old school with the new cool by capturing the attention of music fans and critics alike.
Kimmi’s debut Old School stormed in at Top 25 on the Americana Album Radio Chart, ruled the Alt-Country Specialty Charts for four weeks straight, and scooped eight nominations (three wins) including an Album of the Year nod alongside Sierra Ferrell and Billy Strings. Her singles “Aquamarine” and “Cowboy Kind of Girl” grabbed back-to-back Song of the Year at the 2024 & 2025 San Diego Music Awards, and she’s already racked up four more nominations (plus two wins) for 2025. Toss in shout-outs from Americanafest, Whiskey Riff’s Top Debut Albums, and Billboard’s Must-Hear New-Country list, and it’s clear: Kimmi’s only just warming up.Joining her onstage are Reno’s own Westside Twang, the high-energy, honky-tonk-meets-desert-rock crew known for their gritty riffs and dance-floor-ready grooves.
