National Cancer Survivors Day is an annual celebration of life that is held in hundreds of communities nationwide, and around the world in June. It is a CELEBRATION for those who have survived, an INSPIRATION for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of SUPPORT for families, and an OUTREACH to the community. It is a day for everyone, whether you are a cancer survivor, a family member, friend, or medical professional. It is also a day to draw attention to the ongoing challenges of cancer survivorship in order to promote more resources, research, and survivor-friendly legislation to improve cancer survivors' quality of life.โโ

G.I.R.L.S. (Gender Inclusivity through Radical Love and Support) Rock Reno (GRR)ย is an annual week-long music summer camp for youth ages 9- 17. GRR provides music instruction in vocals, guitar, bass, and drums to youth participants of all skill levels, supported by valuable workshops in rock history, arts, radio, stage confidence, and more. GRR strives to promote self-love with programs that foster creativity, community-building, confidence, and empowerment.

This special night honors Dr. Edgar F. Kleiner, PhD, whose vision and dedication helped shape the garden into the thriving sanctuary it is today.
