Davis Shows Northwest has been our carnival provider for the past several years.Owned and operated by Pat and Geraldine Davis, Davis Shows NW, Inc., is a family oriented traveling carnival. Pat’s parents, Mannie & Melba Davis opened Davis Amusement Company back in 1950 and passed on the family tradition of providing quality rides and games in a carnival atmosphere to their children.
At Davis Shows NW, we take great pride in providing safe family oriented rides, games, and quality food concessions throughout the season. As a traveling amusement company, we are able to offer our family friendly carnival experience at fair grounds, shopping centers, and other prime locations in the Pacific Northwest, Nevada and Idaho.
Davis Shows NW takes several steps to insure our customer’s safety. These include the following:
Rides are inspected daily by maintenance personnel to be sure they will function properly and safely.
Weekly employee safety meetings.
Regular employee safety training, which includes employee attendance at the Northwest Showmen’s Club annual safety seminar and additional third party training.
Clearly posted signs on rides to explain size requirements for the faster rides.
We operate a full time repair shop in Tygh Valley, Oregon where we complete regular maintenance and major overhauls on our equipment.
Insurance company ride inspections.
On site unit managers to oversee operations and help to insure safety at every show.

lessrsemanship skills and competitive drive in this fast and furious event make it a crowd favorite.
In barrel racing, the contestant and her horse enters the arena at full speed. As they begin the course the horse and rider trigger an electronic eye that starts the clock. The racer rides a cloverleaf pattern around three barrels positioned in the arena, and then sprinting back out, trips the eye and stops the clock as she leaves.
The contestant can touch or even move the barrels but receives a five-second penalty for each barrel that is overturned.
ot in the correct position when the horse hits the ground on its first jump out of the chute, the cowboy has failed to “mark out” the horse properly and is disqualified.
Throughout the eight-second ride, the cowboy must grasp the rigging (a handhold made of leather and rawhide) with only one hand.
The rider is judged on his control and on his spurring technique. The score also is based on the rider’s “exposure” to the strength of the horse, and the horse’s performance accounts for half the total score. A rider is disqualified if he touches his equipment himself or the animal with his free hand.
founded in 2016 by Josh Castillo (vocals and guitar) and Liam Reece (drums), with Kyle Hauk (bass guitar) joining in 2023 and Adrian Romero (lead guitar) a year later. In 2024, Makeout Reef released their highly anticipated sophomore record, Star Power, produced by Grammy nominated Jonny Bell of Jazzcats Studio in Long Beach, CA. With numerous sold out headlining and supporting gigs of the Southern California music scene, the four-piece group showcases a new age of their musical ambitions; infusing dirty guitar riffs reminiscent of New York Cities 2000s scene, mixing techniques of the 90s alternative and catchy, yet moody lyricism like Gorillaz. As Star Power displays their punk-like energy in studio and out, Makeout Reef intends to capture sonically and visually a version of what California feels like to them, getting away from themes like the sun, beach and surf, but rather expressing a more personal, gloomy, raw and emotional coming of age experience in the scenes and cities of California.
Support from Chicano test tube babies, En-Vitro, makes music like controlled chaos — jagged punk energy colliding with smoky jazz textures and emotional volatility. Their sound is raw, unpredictable, and deeply captivating, pulling from the grit of the L.A. underground and the surreal edge of a fever dream. It’s not polished — it’s real.

"This is what you need to know about Daikaiju: They're loud. They're all instrumental (duh). And they're the band to see if you want to experience surf rock at its most offensive." - Kelly Weidman, The InformerDaikaiju is a mysterious chimera of sound and imagery that was first sighted in the winter of 1999. Entities of sonic mayhem, Daikaiju takes the sound of waves crashing and shrieking atomic lizards and makes it rock in a way that instills shock and awe in all who experience their shows-a highly interactive and confrontational performance that literally draws the audience into the massive vortex of sound generated by the band. Concealed behind masks, this troupe of mystery people create a mutant style of epic, high energy instrumental rock that seamlessly incorporates a wide variety of musical styles including surf, punk, noise, metal, psychedelic and progressive rock.
Like its namesake, the music of Daikaiju is a great, mysterious beast. Compelling melodies, hard-hitting riffs and shifting dynamics fuse together to create songs that dare the listener to experience the secret history of the universe-a fantastic reality of giant monsters, super humans, and extraterrestrial invasions that unfolds like the soundtrack of the greatest monster movie never made.
