Join Lauren Price, master brewer and founder of Mindscape Fermentations, for a hands-on sauerkraut class rooted in practical fermentation skills and real-world experience. Lauren has owned and operated a fermentation-focused production space for the past four years, working professionally with live cultures across food and beverage.
This class focuses on the fundamentals of lacto-fermentation — how salt, time, and microbes work together to transform simple ingredients into vibrant, living food.

develop their own black and white film, those who need a refresher on the process, and experts who enjoy developing with a group in a social environment. Participants will receive a roll of black and white film to shoot ahead of the workshop or can bring a pre-exposed roll of black & white film they have already shot (no C41 film, please). Point-and-shoot cameras are available for rental for any workshop participants.

Participants will use vintage polaroid cameras and may also turn digital photos from their phones into instant polaroid photos, which we will use to create our emulsion lift transfers.
