Preformer is a genre-defying indie rock quartet based in Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2022 at the California Institute of the Arts, the band quickly began crafting a distinct sonic identity by blending intricate rhythms from West Africa, India, Eastern Europe, and Black American Music with the raw energy and introspection of indie rock, folk, and grammy award winning traditional pop.
The band consists of Greg Miles Lewis (drums/electronics), Redfield Clipper (guitar/vocals), Jolee Gordon (vocals), and June Higgins (bass/vocals), a quartet equally devoted to discovering song in the oblong and normalizing oblique feels in rhythmic and tonal design. Together, they craft music that is at once cerebral and emotionally resonant, layering odd meters, polyrhythms, and rich vocal harmony over atmospheric textures and melodic hooks, all in the mantra of unifying the simple and complex under the mission statement of universal accessibility.
Rooted in a shared passion for global musical traditions and experimental composition, Preformer thrives at the intersection of technical precision and common song. Their live shows are known for their dynamic range-shifting from calm, hypnotic grooves to explosive, asymmetrical improvisations—creating an immersive experience that confounds and comforts audiences.
Preformer continues to push the boundaries of what indie rock and traditional song can be, honoring their diverse influences while forging new musical territory from their creative base in Los Angeles.

chneider’s solo project in Michigan has blossomed into a beloved band known for its haunting storytelling and atmospheric sound. 
Their breakout hit, “The Night We Met,” skyrocketed to fame after appearing on Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why, earning a 3x Platinum certification. Lord Huron’s music evokes nostalgia and adventure, from their debut Lonesome Dreams to the acclaimed Vide Noir, which features fan favorites like “Ancient Names (Part I).”
In 2021, they released Long Lost, further solidifying their emotional and introspective sound with tracks like “Not Dead Yet.” Celebrate the magic of Strange Trails live and relive the songs that have touched so many hearts!

It started out with a simple decision to get back into the game… the music game. Seeking people that would commit to a cause, Jeno Fox, then a fresh college graduate, wanted to find a home for a pack of random riffs he had from his past experience with bands. The catalyst perhaps, was a party during Super Bowl LIV. While having a few drinks with friends at his home, The Kansas City Chiefs won against the San Francisco 49ers, the band was formed, and the rest is history. That was back in January of 2019, and soon after that, the ship of Swept to Sea gradually emerged from the depths of the ocean.
