dra. Okay in elevators, not great for dinner. On Caveman Wakes Up Friendship’s new album and second for Merge Records, the band’s historically capacious definition of country music grows wider still. Shambolic guitars are offset by flute pads, bleary poetry is set against a Motown rhythm section, a song about Jerry Garcia and First Lady Betty Ford fades out with a drum solo, like if Talk Talk came from a dingy Philadelphia basement, and was fronted by James Tate. Songwriter Dan Wriggins’ ragged baritone cuts through eleven murky, swirling country-rock songs with profound lyrical substance and sincerity. Like an alarm clock incorporated into the edge of a dream, Caveman Wakes Up belongs equally to the conscious and subconscious mind, fraught with background, steeped in reference and experimentation, delivered casually and as a dire warning, dedicated, above all, to music’s creative soul.
A droning chord calms nerves. A surreal poem moves us not because it’s familiar, but because it grows, stirs up the stagnant waters. A sizzle in the brain stem. Negative capability. Caveman Wakes Up is dreamy, luscious new growth for a band that has become an increasingly verdant oasis in the crescent of indie country civilization. Sure to excite and mystify, to continue growing, to cause new life.

Daryl Hall is a modern-day renaissance man, an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the star of his very own award-winning web series, Live from Daryl’s House, as well as a successful venue owner with “Daryl’s House,” a restored venue and live music space in Pawling, N.Y.
The Philadelphia soul man is still achieving career milestones more than four decades later, continuing to perform with his band to sold out venues everywhere.
It’s been quite a decade for Hall, including the opening of “Daryl’s House,” a combination world-class restaurant and performance venue, which he kicked off on October 31, 2014. The popular venue also serves as home base for his multi award-winning Live from Daryl’s House. The show, which began as a “light bulb” moment for Hall when he launched it in 2007 as a free webcast, has set the standard for artist-initiated projects. The groundbreaking series provides a mix of legends and the next generation of superstars. “Live From Daryl’s House” streams on Daryl Hall’s YouTube channel.
Daryl released his sixth solo album, D, on Virgin Music Group on June 21, 2024, co-produced by one-time Eurythmics member and fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Dave Stewart, who co-wrote seven of the nine new original songs with Hall penning the other two on his own.
Daryl Hall has come a long way, and he’s still got plenty of mileage left in a career that’s taken him from the streets of Philadelphia to the halls of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. The best is yet to come.
With Special Guest Glenn Tilbrook
Joining him is Glenn Tilbrook, the legendary voice behind Squeeze, known for hits like “Tempted” and “Up the Junction.” Together, these two icons promise an unforgettable night of music at one of the region’s premier venues.
socially conscious lyrics and has been a prominent figure in underground hip-hop and conscious hip-hop. He first gained recognition as one half of the duo Black Star with Mos Def (now known as Yasiin Bey).
lesseleased its debut, Wild Heart; by 2018, the sixth Current Joys full length and visual album, A Different Age, was out. Each piece of Current Joys’ early discography is wholly built and envisioned by Rattigan, self recorded and quickly released, quivering with a lonely intensity.
In his later works, Rattigan’s songwriting/recording approaches have continued to change and evolve. From Voyager with it’s bristling, sentimental rock ‘n’ roll cacophony overlaid with a soundtrack orchestra to LOVE + POP’s aggressive, deconstructed production, house music influence, and even a guest appearance from Lil Yachty. On his latest album, East My Love, Rattigan turns inward using country music and transcendental folk to quell his own personal struggles.
All the while, Current Joys’ profile quickly and quietly ascended, selling out tour after tour at venues like LA’s The Wiltern, Paris’ Trabendo and Sydney’s The Factory, simultaneously amassing over a billion combined streams and a dedicated following.
Current Joys is held together by the fervor of Rattigan’s creative process. He believes in the premonitory power of music, regardless of genre and he latches onto the song ideas that strike him in the moment, propelled by an abstract existentialism or burst of feeling more than anything else.

ALWAYS ALL-AGES
🌃@Flosstradamus is bringing the ‘DON’T GIVE A - 🫢’ energy to @CargoReno on Thursday, October 23rd‼️ TRAP is SOOOO back and why not bring the guy who IS the assignment🤩. 2025 is all about TRAP, get on the bandwagon🔊💨If you’ve never gotten a chance to see the KING of trap, this is your time to WITNESS history 🥳
Flosstradamus is the stage name of American DJ and musician Curt Cameruci. From 2007 until 2016, Flosstradamus consisted of Cameruci and Josh Young from Chicago. The duo announced they would both be pursuing solo careers, with Cameruci to continue using Flosstradamus as a stage name. Cameruci is also known as Autobot, and Young is also known as J2K and YehMe2. Flosstradamus is known for being one of the early pioneers of the trap genre, made popular by their remix of Major Lazer's hit single "Original Don".
their story begins in the deepest reaches of outer space. Long ago, the beings who would become the rock band GWAR were part of an elite fighting force, the Scumdogs of the Universe. For eons, they served as thralls to a supreme being known only as the Master. But one by one, each future member of the band earned a glaring reputation for being an intergalactic fuck-up. And so, they were banished, sent away on a fool’s errand to conquer an insignificant shitball floating in a dark corner of the universe; the planet Earth. Once here, GWAR shaped the face of the globe, destroying and rebuilding the natural world, and giving rise to all of human history. Aliens to some, gods and demons to others, our erstwhile Scumdogs fucked apes to create the human race, and this fateful unplanned pregnancy would prove to be truly disastrous!
Blood. Spectacle. Lifestyle. Mythology. Costumes. And more blood. When you think of beloved shock-metal outfit GWAR, those words are likely the first that come to mind. And with good reason. At a time when bands have become bland, GWAR stands out for their performances and the intimate connection with their fans. The push-and-pull between GWAR and their fans creates a visceral experience that continues to add to the band’s legend and legacy, one new tour at a time. Few, if any band, can break down a physical barrier with their audience quite like GWAR. Fluids fly, substances spray and the lust for copious amounts of fake blood [and cutting heads off, of course] leaves audiences thirsty for more. The mythological nature of their live shows may be at the forefront of people’s minds, but it is GWAR's meticulously crafted songs blend (ING) satire, chaos and violence, made them cultural icons.
