The American Cancer Society Relay For Life event is celebrating it's 40th year of fundraising for cancer research. Our Relay For Life of Northern Nevada will be Saturday August 16 at Idylwild Park Softball field #3. Vendor space is $50 and we ask that you stay at least 4 hours but are welcomed to stay the whole day. Please let us know what 4 hours you will attend.**If you donate a raffle prize worth about $20, your vendor space is $30**We are looking for Vendors, Food trucks and groups that would like to perform for 20 -25 minutes. Nicki Bluhm and Jackie Greene will join this special late afternoon/evening of music alongside Grahame Lesh, Jeremy Hoenig, Ross James, Adam MacDougall, and JP McLean. Opening the show is Broken Compass, an up-and-coming string band that’s quickly making a name for itself.
The Terrapin Roadshow is a traveling concert series celebrating the spirit, energy, and community of Phil and Jill Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads, bringing world-class music to three of Northern California’s most scenic and intimate outdoor venues. The music is deeply rooted in the Grateful Dead songbook and style while allowing space for exploration and improvisation. Expect to hear your favorite songs from the ‘60s through today performed by world-class musicians in stunning settings.

Moving to America, they became Red Elvises, known for their "Siberian Surf Rock" with humorous lyrics that compel audiences to dance.
Over two decades, they've toured globally, starred in films like "Six String Samurai" and "Armageddon," and rocked stages from Live 8 to private parties, always bringing the party with them. They've released 12 studio albums, two live albums, a concert DVD, and a Greatest Hits compilation.

The course is a flat, fast 8K through scenic and historic old southwest Reno with the start/finish lines at Reno High School.
