National Cancer Survivors Day is an annual celebration of life that is held in hundreds of communities nationwide, and around the world in June. It is a CELEBRATION for those who have survived, an INSPIRATION for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of SUPPORT for families, and an OUTREACH to the community. It is a day for everyone, whether you are a cancer survivor, a family member, friend, or medical professional. It is also a day to draw attention to the ongoing challenges of cancer survivorship in order to promote more resources, research, and survivor-friendly legislation to improve cancer survivors' quality of life.

You're invited to the May Arboretum Society's inaugural Gala in the Garden, a magical evening of fine dining, live music, and celebration in the heart of the Wilbur D. May Arboretum. This special night honors Dr. Edgar F. Kleiner, PhD, whose vision and dedication helped shape the garden into the thriving sanctuary it is today.
𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐝𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐅. 𝐊𝐥𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐏𝐡𝐃Founder of the Wilbur D. May Arboretum and Botanical Garden, Dr. Kleiner played a pivotal role in developing this treasured space, which now houses over 4,000 plant species across 23 acres. Storyboards throughout the garden will showcase his incredible contributions to conservation and botany.
