2000βs with the hard rock band, Flyleaf. Her distinctive voice and shiver-inducing screams helped propel Flyleaf to multi-platinum success with hard rock hits βIβm So Sickβ and βAll Around Me.β With the band, she released three albums and an EP before amicably parting ways in 2012 to focus on her family. Re-emerging as a solo artist, she contributed a number of guest appearances including the Underworld Soundtrackβs βHeavy Preyβ, Skilletβs βBreaking Freeβ and Breaking Benjaminβs βDear Agony.β In 2014, she released her first book, a memoir titled The Reason: How I Discovered a Life Worth Living (Baker Books) A year after her book debuted, Sturm returned to her hard rock roots, recording her debut LP, Life Screams, with husband/guitarist Josh Sturm, Skilletβs Korey Cooper, and ex-Evanescence member David Hodges. Her first single βImpossibleβ combined her unmistakable voice with chugging blasts of guitar that will be familiar to her Flyleaf fan base. βLife Screamsβ was released in February of 2016 and Lacey Sturm was recognized by Billboard as the βfirst solo woman to top hard rock album charts.β

Emberwake is a Metalcore band from Fernley, Nevada. Six members all with different unique music backgrounds and styles meshing to create the idiosyncratic metalcore experience. Emberwake is not afraid to creatively reach outside the bounds of conventional Metalcore genre norms, Thus setting them apart from most other bands in the genre.

will be available at Scolaris, any Nevada State Bank location and the Reno Rodeo Ticket Office. The prices of the wristbands will be $33 each in advance.Β Β
If you are not attending the rodeo, it will be $10 to get onto grounds and attend the carnival.

Β Patβs parents, Mannie & Melba Davis opened Davis Amusement Company back in 1950 and passed on the family tradition of providing quality rides and games in a carnival atmosphere to their children.
At Davis Shows NW, we take great pride in providing safe family oriented rides, games, and quality food concessions throughout the season. Β As a traveling amusement company, we are able to offer our family friendly carnival experience at fair grounds, shopping centers, and other prime locations in the Pacific Northwest, Nevada and Idaho.
Davis Shows NW takes several steps to insure our customerβs safety. These include the following:
Rides are inspected daily by maintenance personnel to be sure they will function properly and safely.
Weekly employee safety meetings.
Regular employee safety training, which includes employee attendance at the Northwest Showmenβs Club annual safety seminar and additional third party training.
Clearly posted signs on rides to explain size requirements for the faster rides.
We operate a full time repair shop in Tygh Valley, Oregon where we complete regular maintenance and major overhauls on our equipment.
Insurance company ride inspections.
On site unit managers to oversee operations and help to insure safety at every show.
